Money best spent?!?
Am I better Off to spend $1,500-$2,000 on new rims or upgrade my suspension with some M3 parts?
I have eibach/FSDs waiting to be put on, will go with 225/265 PSSs next year on stock 264s(I like the look of these!!!!) I am wondering if new light/forged rims are worth it. I don't track the car, just have a bit of fun. Thoughts? |

265's will not fit on stock 264's without fender modifications btw. 265's will only fit on certain rims that have currect offsets for our cars without rubbing.
But if your car is tuned then yes lighter wheels and bigger tires will help tremendously. |

IMO lightweight or wider wheels help much more on track than street. If you're interested in wheels for looks, that's something else, who can say? |

I'm wondering if anyone has ever quantified the benefit (0-60 or 1/4) of swapping from 264s to some forgestars or arc-8s?
You can fit 265s on the rims, I'm just unable to get a response from anyone who has done it on if there are issues. I did mean to say 255s though |

http://www.dunloptires.com/care/widthRatio.html ARC-8s will give a slightly harder ride and noticeable improvements in cornering, handling, acceleration and braking. By noticeable, I mean on a track, with tires screaming t the limit. On street, I only notice the slightly harder ride. I'm not positive, but my impression is that Forgestar wheels are for looks. |
