Definitely run with this if the boys are keen, I won't make it as I may be nursing a hangover, hence the super short run lol. Just keep in mind that it's spring and the camo coppers will be out randomly!

The place where you specified "Mobil station corner of Mountain Hwy & Dorset Rd" should be fine. I'll give recommendations on possible routes when we meet. I would rather discuss it then, as anyone can read these forums and crash the party, if you know what I mean...

But since we are limited for time, I think I know something that should be appropriate =)

Round back to albert park is 3hrs 29 mins. If we leave by 7:15, calculating the lack of traffic in the morning, we should be at the meet location at 10:30. I am also ok to leave earlier if people want to do that. At the end of the day, its upto the group. Keep me posted

Sounds great - I'm keen to get there.

Just wondering if we could do a little test: quick comparison of cars equipped with OEM 17s, 18s and aftermarket wheels (at smaller offsets). I would love to get some definitive answers and see if the steering effort changes, and perhaps a quick little ride comparison and overall driving perception?

I think you may struggle to find many cars that still have OEM suspension! lol.

Sephanite, I wouldn't say there were be a 'lack' of traffic in the morning... unexpected volumes of traffic during the morning can easily occur from my experience.

As much as I'd like to do the full spur run, there wont be enough time to make it to Albert Park by 10:00 (even 10:30 seems unrealistic).

Anyways just want to get some numbers, place you name in the roll call if you're attending the pre-drive...

I'm OEM! but unsure if i will be making the trip to mt dande haha..

Is anyone attending on the day running coilovers? (ST/KW etc), would be keen to check out an e82 on coilovers in person if possible

Yeah I am, but I'm not slammed if that's what you're looking for. My tyres rub at speed so I can't go very low.

was more interested on the ride quality side of things, had buddyclub coilovers on my previous car which I was quite happy with
