N55 ISO Tune + Intake Only Dyno

Saw this dyno from Jeff (new guy at BMS) so I thought I would share. He's running the N55 JB4 ISO, flex fuel wires, BMS Intake, and an E40 blend only. Pretty much tune only with intake.

Sick #'s with minimal mods. How does spool up sound with the intake and that kind of power?

The JB4 takes on controlling boost versus sending fake signals to the DME. Provides smoother, more reliable, and more power than the dummy signals

I'm surprised this thread hasn't gotten more attention due to the numbers with nothing but a tune/intake. That said, I've got a few questions about this.

- Any problems using this ISO update on a 2013 DCT?
- Will this only benefit cars using an E85 blend (from a power standpoint) or are there other improvements that make this worthwhile?

The N55 ISO benefits all maps, not just the E85 mapping. One of their test cars is a 135i DCT and it loves the ISO.

Wow, those are damn good numbers for tune and intake only.

Is there an "All of the above" package deal out yet???

Curious what an FMIC and DP would do to those numbers.

Thanks Mike. I noticed that the ISO hex file and the board modification instructions have since vanished. Should we be holding off for an "official" update? I want to try it out for some of the non E85 benefits alone, but I want to make sure that it's safe before doing so.

Yes, there's just one resistor needing clipped and you're good to go (of course along with the proper firmware uploaded and PID settings)

And seat of the pants feeling with meth flowing is holy shite, it's quick. I ran out of meth yesterday before I got good logs to share, so I am purging the f out of it tonight and trying to get some logs if it is dry out. Can't do shit on the wet roads, rolling 4th gear going 70 mph causes tire spinning....

^ bump for answer to this?

Also, any testing done with this with 100% E85? Or even a higher mixture than 40%?

This thread is a total dick tease so far, lol.
