Now that's pretty cool. A new movie that looks like it's worth going to. Thanks

If I wasn't standing near the service entrance where they deliver the new cars I would've missed it and maybe made a big mistake and ordered 235i. I think it was a sign! I'm still looking for one or if I have to settle it would be for m2. |

Small world. I am the original owner of this car, and had heard the movie appearance was coming, but never had any verification of it until now. |

the movie looks worthwhile watching. glad to see this awesome car used in the movie.
when i had my E39 back in 2003, it was used for a TV series, they payed me $400/day to use my car. You have to be careful because they generally do not handle the cars very well. they got all kinds of mud on my interior carpet and floor mats. I had to have the car detailed and passed the director the $200 bill

I own the car now and would love to know the history. There were 3 work orders for this 1M coupe ( one in tenn. and 2 in San Siego) that show many more miles than this car has. I heard that you traded for a different BMW and when the 2 shops did work on your new car, they neglected to change their records to show your new vin# to match the new key for your car. In other words, they used your new key and my vin#. Therefore, the milage and work done on your new car showed up on the 1M coupe that I now own. Please let me know if what I think is true. I have been working with BMW to get it straightened out. Thanks

I worked as a production assistant in film and television for about a year and actors usually do not drive the cars due to liability issues, but I have seen some do it. When filming a car scene with dialogue, the car is usually towed so the actors can focus on acting. This could explain the 6 miles in 3 months. Here is an example of how it gets towed:

Wait...so where did you buy the car from? The sketchy used car dealer in san diego? They did not treat that car nicely...or at least in front of me.
