How do you distinguish the 1 stage and 3 stage intake manifolds

How do you distinguish the 1 stage and 3 stage intake manifolds from the outside (without removing them)? I wonder which one my car has. It's a Mexican 125i (same as 128i in US)... It's an N52 inside, but dealer didn't know any specifics based on VIN...
