it looks slightly more aggresive than the standard m rear diffuser with small diffuser fins like the evo 9. the e91 in the bmw uk mag painted it in body colour but i reckon it looks better in black. i checked with one of my local part shops and they quoted me about $350 US -about the same price for the m rear bumper in singapore. damn expensive for a rectangular piece of plastic! ACS also do front add ons for the m tech front bumper.

coo...well we were doing the front bumper today...and the undertray extension was particularly interesting. There were little things that would fit into the grooves of the underbelly so i kind of gave you some guidance as to where to drill the holes so that it attaches to the bellypan.
we ended up having to trim off a piece of the original undertray on each side so that the holes towards the leading edges would line up properly. Kind of hard to explain verbally. Anyway, we got that all done but when the bellypan was reinstalled to the underbody it seem to be short of the bumper holes by approximately 1/4" and if you looked at the underside of the front bumper it just doesnt seem to fit properly as it seems like it's bulging. I wished i had snapped some pics but didnt have my camera and should have used my camera phone to help illustrate this. It was finished but the way the underpan attached to the front bumper just didnt seem to fit properly. what's odd was on the parts list they identified an "installation manual" |

Hmmm, that's strange. I never trimmed off anything on mine.
What did you think of the fog light connectors? |

haha that was the easiest part...my friend does electronic installs for people so he had rigged a "U" paper clip and released the connectors from the OE plug...we had the matching new recepticle so we just plugged it in and connected it right up...no muss on that.
it was the bellypan that gave us the problem...I really need to take a pic or see how your installed yours to identify how you did it vs how we did it. |

Very well done Frogman! And the rest of the crew have exceptional skills and styling toward their respectful E90s.

You'll also have to remove PDC if you have that. You may also want to read this thread to give you further insight on those side clips and rear bumper: http://www.e90post.com/forums/showth...ghlight=m-tech |

Here, you will most likely break the stock rear bumper, and it will look like this:
This is the hard plastic side that you will eventually remove and replace with the creme colored m-tech one: |

Also, I found this page for the steering wheel on RealOEM.... http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts...05&hg=32&fg=35 http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts...17&hg=32&fg=35 I should only need the actual wheel, and the ///M wheel cover, correct? I should be able to use my current hex bolt, airbag, etc....right? It would also seem that the part# for the actual wheel is the same based on those two RealOEM links. Here is an example of one. Its just for the wheel...you could use your current cover, or buy the M one seperately. Keep looking, I am sure this seller will put some up periodically. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/BMW-M...QQcmdZViewItem
