Are the ships always on schedule? The east coast has a nice storm going on...

My car's on the Don Quijote, due in NY on 9/26. Attached is the schedule for this sailing. It's the 26th and the ship should be in Halifax and the Wallenius website is not showing it there. I wonder if they've diverted or delayed because of the nor'easter blowing up the coast right now and the next one forecast for Sunday. I don't like the thought of my new baby being slung around in a ship pounding through 48' seas.

My dealer still says I'll have my car in 7-10 days but he probably isn't up on the potential weather delays.

Just hope they don't break loose and get smashed around. Something like that happened this spring and I think they had to total like 70 M3s. That was one big insurance claim.

If it makes you feel better the accident occured on the Courage which happens to be the boat my car is on. All I can find out it is that it happened in port, supposedly while they were transferring fluids between tanks, probably to counterbalance the off-loading.

Does anyone know which ship is used to bring cars to the VPC in Oxnard, California? My car will be on the ship that takes that route and anyone else from Hawaii know which shipping company is used to ship from California to Hawaii. Anyone know who deals with BMW of Honolulu?
