Who will be the 1st Space Gray 1er Owner?

Alright, for all those new Space Gray owners, who is going to have the first one? More importantly who will be the first one to start the Space Gray pictures thread? Mine is waiting for shipment, however i wont be home from Iraq till November. Can't wait till people see Space Gray 1ers in person, and post pics! Lets hear your projected delivery dates.......

Mine is scheduled for pick up on 17NOV08. Its going to be rough getting back from deployment and not having a vehicle. We'll see.

I am scheduled to take delivery at the Performance Center on 24Oct.

Not that it matters to me, but I'm guessing that mine will be one of the first batch of 2009 Space Grays to come overseas because I ordered my car just after they stopped taking 2008 orders.

I am supposed to be getting mine around the end of October. I don't have a definite date yet though. I should get a date in the next week or two, down here in NZ we have to bug our dealers and they don't seem to know for sure until it's on a boat...

Hopefully I'll have up the first pics of a Space Grey with the carbon diffuser, mirrors, spoiler and shadowline grills

mine is scheduled to arrive in Jersey Port aboard the Don Quixote on 9/26. Of course I wont be able to get it until mid november...due to this whole Iraq War thing...wonder if mine will be the first to hit the states

MIne is on the Patriot as we speak. Due to hit South Carolina Oct. 4th and then about 4-5 days to get to TX. I'm guessing that I will have the car by the 9th or 10th.

Please post pics as soon as you get it. I was really disappointed when they canceled SGM so I really want to see SPG. So whoever gets theirs first, post pics, please!

Yes, I really wanted SPG, too. I almost broke down into tears when my sales advisor confirmed it.

My buddy (post above) was lucky enough to find one! Lucky guy!!
However, I have been up to the dealership repeatedly, even after the order to view SG on all of the cars (well, except the 1 of course), and in different lighting conditions. I think I am going to be extremely pleased. Especially after tint. I think the tint might help give it that dark SGM I was after.

Actually, I'm in the DFW area so i'd love to see them side by side and compare the color with that of my Titanium Grey RX-8

FYI, I saw some US spec (damn orange headlight side markers) Space Gray 135 coupes and verts on the line in Leipzig, and got to inspect one pretty close.

It is an attractive color! And this is coming from a die-hard SGM fan!

Alas, I didn't get close enough to try and snag a production number to tie back to a customer. Too bad, that would have been cool.

I imagine pheller didn't get pics of it since it was on the tour. If you try to use a camera on the factory tour, I'm told that Fritz will tackle you and take your camera.

I was not able to take pics. Though I have some contacts whom might make it possible on the next visit.

I was a tour of one, and I've totally forgotten my tour guide's name -- not fritz though.
