HDR fun
Disclaimer: This isn't a techical thread about HDR, rather a creative thread. Post your favorite, most creative use of the HDR process of your 1series...here's my latest image....intentionally processed to pop!

Sure, I'm just saying that I don't think it was the OP's intent to have a technically perfectly exposed photo and I think it turned out well. I don't want to speak for anyone, I just prefer bold photos like that to something that might be bland.

Overprocessed or not, the bigger question/issue I have is that I don't think the first shot is HDR at all... OP, how many shots did you combine and what was the bracketing?

HDR in it's truest sense in just what someone aluded to, a mix of exposures to gain the max range a photo can have. But a nice side benefit of HDR is making cool, over saturated images...hence my title...HDR fun.
If you want to be technical, take it to another thread...no worries. This is for people to be creative and explore the edges of HDR. This was a mix of seven (7) exposures, starting with three stops under and going to three stops over. Have fun and post away!

to HDR that...we need either a single RAW file or multiple exposures from underexposed to overexposed. A single jpeg is hard to HDR as it already lost so much of it's range.

Thanks. I think I might have the colour saturation up a bit high but pretty happy with it for a first go...

Harlequin...that's a nice photo agreed...but P1et....your missing the point of the thread...this is about being creative not technical...if you don't understand the difference...move on to another HDR thread or start your own. And I'm glad you are a photography expert...take it somewhere else....this is about pushing the boundaries of HDR and "having fun"!

Love'em all...I want to get into photography and create stuff like this! Now, does anyone want to tell me how HDR gets done? I know what it is, but I do not know what gets done to the images.
