congrats on getting the spoiler, adds a lot of character to the boot.
i used scotch exterior mounting tape (super strong, weather resistant) and its held up pretty good so far (about 3/4 of a year). can easily get some from your local hardware shop. not too sure what other people ended up using though. |

Smarm that looks sweet, my car's the same colour.
Did you install it yourself, or get BMW to do it?

S747, am not sure how much postage would be to perth, i've got the box and wrapping they came in, so could pack in it.. Guess I'd want $620 plus postage.

I recently installed my performance deck spoiler too. I wasn't sure how it would look on the Le Mans blue but I couldn't be happier.
Sorry about quality of pics, taken with camera phone.

looks good Dave, can you get any pics from a little further away showing side on the car?
I just went down to the car park to sit the spoiler on the back and have a look.. it looks hot. Will have to grab some double sided tape soon to do the install.

Cheers Janus
This is the only other photo I have at work. Does this do the trick?

Cool Dave, that's the one.. It looks great with the colour of your car, blends in nicely with the colour of the diffuser.
On mine it looks almost same colour as the car unless you're standing quite close.

Bit annoying, they packed both spoilers flush against one another, so the one sitting underneath has got a few rub marks on the top of it, would have been good if they'd put a bit of paper or something in between at least to avoid this!
Anyway, am trying to see what the seller will do for me, if i can get some refund and sell it cheaper, bugger. The damage is minimal, but i know anyone buying the spoiler would not want any rub marks.. am wondering is there a product out there that could buff these out or polish over? Not sure how to post pics up to show you guys what i'm talking about.... argh.

Gotta say i'm happy from the service from this guy, he's apologised for the inconvenience, and asked what i think is a fair amount to refund for the damage.
Now i just need to figure out what i can sell the one with the rub marks for. It's not badly damaged, just a couple of spots where it's rubbed a little. Hmm.. suggestions?
