Do you have a GPS tracking device in your car?

BMW Assist notwithstanding, has anyone installed an aftermarket GPS tracking device in your cars? As defense against over-eager service technicians, valets, and of course, car thieves.

Those are all pricey. I wonder if there is an option for pay per tracking instead of monthly or yearly services.

Slightly off topic but I usually have a Glock 9mm if that counts.
