Spring has come// HRE, 3D, RPI, etc
I had been doing new mods during the winter,
and finally it felt like spring (only little) today, so did my first photo shoot with the new setup. For me among many other parts the key was the rims -- I was on VMRs until last autumn, and wanted something that I did not see very often, to be different. I'm glad the rims turned out nicely with the body color. I plan to go to more meets this season, see you all there (seriously starting to consider going all the way to Maryland to Bimmerfest East ...) Well done! Only thing I'd change are the color-matched amber gone things. Looks perfect otherwise IMO!

I guess those are the nicest wheels that I've ever seen on a One!
I agree on the amber covers, but I didn't even notice it until mentioned and actually like seeing it just as a cool change of pace. I'd keep them on for a year then change it just for a new look. Looks like HRE made your offsets pretty aggressive. What size Hankooks are you running?

Wallpaper worthy! I like how the calipers & wheel color look. Also dont mind the amber covers
Im sure others will ask, what are the wheel and tire specs

Thank you for the compliments guys!!
It's VERY encouraging to receive comments from you guys with such awesome cars To answer to some of the points mentioned; Tires are 215/35/19 and 235/35/19 Wheels are 8.5 +38 and 9 +44 And yes, the rear panel lips are rolled. I know someone was gonna mention about the amber covers lol Yeah, I kind of like them, but do I really like them, NO. Enough that I put them on because the ambers ARE there... Might take them off in a while to give fresh look... The last photo was taken on a location where I coincidentally found close to a car wash place that I go to, and suddenly Chicago's very own Metra comes by!! (The train was moving by the way) Lucky moment ^^ Oh, and for those of you into photographs, photos were taken with Canon 600D and 50mm f/1.8 lens. |

Your color blue is actually one of the colors that the amber corners look good on. I would remove the covers and accept the amber.
