nice find OP,
5.7k$ < a pair of BMW OEM perf seats / Recaro CS's incl alcantara, seat heating and side airbags, i doubt that. US and SEA markets nearly always have the lowest consumer prices for quality EU stuff. |

saves the dealer parts rep a lot of clicking on their parts catalog.. and also removes the fact that the owner may quote the wrong model year etc.. " is my car a 2010 or a 2011? Etc.... " You would be amazed at how many people don't know the year of the vehicle they own and are driving.

Why would you want to? They're just as bad as the 1Ms seats (if not worse) as far as the support in corners goes and they weigh a ton. Especially if you take the "fully automated" seats. The seats in my M392 were about the only thing I never really liked and at that time you couldn't legally install the performance seats in the M3.

The problem with ordering standard Recaro Sportster CS seats is that you can't buy the optional side airbags in the U.S.
The seats in the eBay link come with airbags.

These seats are a bargain IMO. I've built japanese tuner cars for years and I've spent $2500 + per seat for shitty Bride's with rails that are a 1/10 of the quality of these.
Heated/airbaged performance seats with rails, belts etc is a steal. |
