A 123d from Tuscany
Hi guys,
I write you from Tuscany in Italy. I've been checking the forum for some days now and I have to say it's very well organized and partecipated! Hope to become part of it in time... I want you to see my just bought (not even a month ago) Bmw 123d E82! It has 90k km and was built in december of 2007. The pictures are taken after the trip to bring it home, so sorry for it being dirty. For now it's pretty stock, I'm looking to do some little mods, every suggestion is welcome (just remember here in Italy we can't modify engines ). As soon as i can I'm also going to get rid of that M badge on the trunk. Tell me what you think of it! |

This is my first true mod (not counting the performance gear knob coming from my old E87):
Alcantara interior trims in the style of performance gear gaiter (inspired by 1M ) |

Hey mate ! Welcome on the 1Addicts forum !
You get such a nice car, and IMO the best 2.0 liter diesel of the world ! Do you plan to add some mods on your car ? Hahaha I will be in Italy this summer |

Welcome aboard! I was just in Firenze e Versilia for the past two weeks. Drove back and forth in a Fiat Bravo (big let down)... rental agent was all "this is a fast car, you'll like it" HA!
Every time I go over (4 times per year) I see all the cool 1 series (and A3 2 door) hatches that we can't get in the states and it makes me a bit sad. But it keeps life interesting. Whereabouts Tuscany are you? Perhaps we (1addicts we) should do a run in Italy |

First of all thanks to everyone for the welcome you gave me!
Yours is very nice as well! What's the name of that colour? Quote:
I'm from Lucca precisely. If there will ever be something in Italy (and maybe around too) I will be extremely glad to participate. |

Looking really good! I'm from Belgium where modifying engines is a bit tricky as well. Essentially the engines are modified, then put back to stock when it's time for yearly inspection.
