LOL
I guess it also depends on how long he's had his car... 8 coats of zaino in 1 year sounds more acceptable than 8 coats of zaino in 3 months

im going overboard for sure...it beads like crazy a month after application (longest ive gone between applications) certainly has some staying power. I love the way it makes the metal flake pop and layering it does seem to improve it.

You can't go overboard with Zaino but it can cause stress in a relationship. I averaged 10 coats a year on my Imola Red M and black 325. I just took delivery of my SGM 128 yesterday and it too will join the club.

thanks guys...i dont think ive strayed much from what they recommend
1. palmolive wash 2. clay with 50:50 Z7 and water for lube 3. wash and rinse 4. base of Zaio 5. buff 6. wash with Z7 7. Z5 then allow to dry 8. buff (It looks hazy and swirly when im buffing off the z5 so i soak a soft (experienced)undershirt with Z6 and go over the whole car until its reasonably streak free) 9. wash with Z7 10. repeat 7-10 im ordering some zcs and grand finale this week and to try it out this weekend. Stuff is amazing. im seriously considered applying the zaio to my stainless fridge to avoid the finger prints.
