What was/is going to be your first mod(s).
The 135 is arriving in a couple of weeks and i wanted to get a general feel of what people are modding, if anything.
1. The more I look at the rear diffuser the more I want to paint it or CF it. The gray plastic look reminds me a lot of those fugly Audi's diffusers. 2. I really wouldn't change the stock wheels, I love the five spoke look and really can't imagine why someone would do this: http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showthread.php?t=9687 lol 3. I might have to do a 20 or 35% tint Anyway, let me know what mods you did or what you're thinking of. I only mentioned aesthetic ones, because I'm afraid of voiding the warranty, but if there are any performance mods that are really worth it I would definitely consider it. cheers :drinking: |

Exhaust... but I'm not sold on anything currently available, which pisses me off. I'm hoping for cp-e or another manufacturer to come out with a center exit exhaust and new rear diffusor. If not center exit, then I want the quad pipes.

I put the CF mirrors and spoiler on mine during the break in period. Next was SSTT, then downpipes. My next move will probably be JB3, or the CP-E piggyback, and then a set of springs, followed by wheels/tires.

I had the shadowline grills before the car arrived. I had tint put on the day I picked her up. Then added JB2 and BMS Intake(single) a few hundred miles later. That's it....for now.

Just had mine installed Friday.
Illuminated door sills and an oil change. (Stock Photo off BMW website) P.S. I'm old school and change my oil after the first 2000 miles so you might want to consider it a mod...

If you are eager to mod before the break-in period ends, I would start with H&R springs or coilovers.

Some nice white bulbs for my angel eyes. Maybe GP Thunders or those new LED ones I have seen advertised on here.

A lot of you are saying that you want to get rid of the runflats, but I read somewhere that the suspension is specifically tuned for the runflats, I'd be careful, because with the stock setup it might be too soft.
I totally forgot about hardwiring the radar detector, that was definitely a DIY that I was looking into. V1 is the way to go. I'll probably go with 35% tints because over here cops actually pull you over for dark ones. I have no idea what JB3 and some other stuff mentioned is, noobness.:iono: care to elaborate? |

DINAN software upgrade, debadgin, and a new exhaust.
But, I'm going to take my time. The 135i with the M package (M wheels, etc.) looks great as it is. In terms of performance, the car is stellar. I don't see a need to get new rims. I might wait a few years and do some upgrades when I feel like a revitalizing the car. I think it will be fine for the next 2-3 years.
