Question 328i m-sport OR 135i

Hey guys. I have to change cars soon and the lease on the 135i m-sport (with leather seats) is basically the same as the lease on a 328i m-sport (with performance exhaust, intake, carbon fiber mirrors caps, leather seats)

I'm currently have a 128i.

I'm not much into the engine... I just can't decide what car to choose

any help please?

135i ez answer.

The 328i is going to be slower and fatter then your 128i you have now. Seems like a downgrade to me

It comes down to; performance or a larger car. In my case it was simple...I wanted more performance (turbo and handling) and I am very happy with my decision. If you are not into the turbo, then go with the 328i. I recommend MT b/c with AT you'll be in Sport mode the majority of the time.

Since you already had the 1er I would give the E92 a try.

I agree with Zamboni, the e92 is a beautiful tourer. I know 2 people with them, and both absolutely love them.

I don't understand what you mean by "I'm not much into the engine". But the choice seems pretty simple.

If you want more power, 135i. If you want more leg room in the back seat, 328i. If you don't care about either one, get another 128i.

GaryS does make some good points here.

This statement alone answers your question. Looks like its a 328i.

If you have to ask the question you may also want to look at other brands as well.

i had an 07 328i coupe. if the 135i was available, i would have been all over it.

my 328i coupe had the sports package, and will say it looked way sleeker than my 135i.

getting all the performance extras and carbon wrapped stuff on a slower car is a bit of a poser move. just sayin.

135i man

The 328i coupe looks nice, but it's just a heavier 128i. Great touring though.

yeah ive never been the biggest fan of the 3 series body style. the 1-series just seems more classic bmw to me. both nice cars though, so you cant lose

if you don't care about the engine, and the interiors are not very different, so it really all depends on if you just want a exterior change or not

just picked up a 328i sedan with M sport, premium, xenons, HK audio, and a few other options for the wife... Le Mans blue on saddle brown, absolutely gorgeous car, BUT it's not fast by any means. Handles well, smooth engine, VERY comfortable car... if that's what you're after, then the 328i coupe is perfect for you.

If you want something that puts a huge smile on your face every time you lay into the pedal, then the choice is easy... 135i.

135 is the best car i've ever owned, does everything I want and nothing I don't want it to. The smiles per miles quotient of this car is off the charts!!

You've pretty much already sold yourself on the 135... so what is your reason for considering the 328?
