▀▄ eas | Macht Schnell - Competition Wheel Spacer kits for BMW

In order to give your BMW a much more aggressive stance while increasing handling, we offer our line of Macht Schnell Competition Spacer Kits.

Machined from 6061-T6 aerospace aluminum, these adapters are strong as well as lightweight to limit unsprung/reciprocating weight for maximum performance on or off the track. Spacer edges are also chamfered to allow for easy installation/removal if needed. After machining, the spacers are then anodized for additional strength, anti-corrosion & wear resistance.

A wider track stance increases lateral stability as well as giving your BMW a much more aggressive appearance after installation. Spacers also are used to correct wheel gap normally seen on otherwise stock suspension setups, pushing the wheels outward - filling the fenders.

Included with our Competition Wheel Spacer Kits are a full set of extended lug bolts in black OEM finish. All wheel fasteners are hardened and tempered to strength class 10.9 or 10 according to DIN/ISO standard 898 and meet the statutory requirements of all countries - including the US.

Competition Wheel Spacer kit Features:
- Machined from 6061-T6 aerospace aluminum
- Chamfered edges allows installation & removal quick and easy
- Black anodized finish for additional strength and corrosion/wear resistance
- Improve handling by reducing body roll with a wider wheel base
- Included black extended-length corrosion-resistant wheel fasteners

Anything can happen with enough interest.

I would think 7mm or 8mm would be popular on here for those of us wanting to run the 8.5 GTS-R's up front.

Is only 1 kit needed, or 2? (I'm asking because the pictures on the website show 2 spacers, not 4).

Is the 10mm hubcentric (with raised lip)?

And one more question, a little more difficult: to use on a 135i Sport Package, or 335i Sport Package (OEM rims in both cases), would 12mm fit front and rear? (I'm asking because I'd like to buy them now for the 3, but later put them on my future 1).

Thanks...

Spacers are sold in sets of 2 and include lugs. You would have to measure to see what is best for your specific application, but 10mm may be a bit more conservative.

Do measure clearance beforehand to be 100% sure.

OK Tom, I'm moving forward with my plans to do 8.5 GTS-R's front and rear. 5mm spacer will work but are cutting it VERY close. Did you find anything out about the 7mm spacers? I'll be the guinea pig and I'm guessing there are a lot of people that will follow suit assuming it works.

8mm may be a near possibility. We'll update the thread as they become available.

Thanks Tom. IIRC, Turner offers an 8mm spacer. May be worthwhile to offer a different option that no one else has.

Either way, thanks for working on it!!

Spacers allow for a wider track width, bringing the wheels closer to the outer fenders.

Here's a recent install on factory 18s:

Vehicle is equipped with 15mm/10mm spacers.

A wider track width would present better handling, and much improved aesthetics.

Other sizes are in development.

FYI: I installed 10mm spacers on all 4 wheels and I am running stock wheels and tires. They look nice, but I dont notice any difference in handleing at all.

whats recommended to get the most out of stock wheels and suspension without rubbing? will there be a need to roll the fenders?

I would suggest measuring it up on your car first as any car could be different depending on the mods you have done. Just check your measuring tape, and get it at it!
