Just a quick update -- we ended up putting them on my wife's X1 for this last month and a half because of the temperatures and that 30-something inch snow event we had around here. I just took them off her car and saw she did nudge a curb but it buffed out with rubbing compound. The pictures above are fundamentally accurate with the other flaws.
