The only thing limiting you at that point is that your block won't like all that newfound power for long, but you'll have fun!

When I had my Evo9, I would always put several carlengths on my friends 335i with a procede and bolt ons. It was only when he used race gas that he would stay really close to me. Keep in mind I was still on stock turbo and E85. An FP Red or even better a Black would make most N54s seem parked lol. It would be wise to build the block if you get a Red or Black. Take a look what E85, FP Black and a buschur motor can do:
Yeah, not many 335i will keep up with that lol. I'm keeping my 135i for a few more years, but I'm going back to an Evo9 lol.

On topic: I'm very happy with my JB4 and few bolt ons. Made about 370rwhp in a really hot day, but I think it can crack 400rwhp on map 7 in better conditions. Cobb Stage 2 looks promising, but I'm waiting to see trap speeds to see what it is capable in terms of power.
In a couple years ill prolly get myself a used EVO9 on the side and track it...sick car.

On Topic: I've had my procede for a couple years now...i really love the current tune/maps. Very strong torque and smoooooth.

RnmEvo9- Nice video, maybe instead of going back to a 9 try an evo 10 for a good blend of the power with more "amenities" then a 9. I know 10's haul butt when properly set up, but I drove one friends 10 with an fp red fully built motor bc cams etc and it wasn't that impressive it lost quickness but gained the top end speed so it felt weird but then I drove my other buddies 10 with a 6262 turbo ets set up and it was laggy but when it hit OMG! He put down 650whp.
But yea, I think a red and E85 is doable for me I'm not really interested in cams so why pop the top open when a gtr is so in the near future for me. Also what makes you want to go from a 135 back to an evo 9? When you have power and nicer interior?

On topic: Great question does a flash seem more detectable then a piggyback system?

I know the Cobb is legit..some guy that i meet at a lot of different tracks had a jb3 and experienced too many limp modes etc. switched to the CObb and he loves it.

I just don't like the 10's as much as the 9's. They are heavier, lack the rawness of the 9, and don't have a 4G63. I am far more familiar with the 4G63 as well. My 135i has enough power for a daily driver, but I am a speed demon and 400whp isn't enough for me lol. Even though my 135i is now making just as much power as my previous Evo, I eventually would like more and just miss that Evo 9 (it was stolen, otherwise I wouldn't be in a 135i).

I hear you, but the 4b11 has been proven way beyond 400 hp. I'll pm you some info on it.

Off topic: JB4 135i versus EVO 9 E85

On topic: So does anyone have experience visiting the dealer with JB4 tune "removed"?

Thats no surprise from a roll, what do you think would happen from a dig? Jb4 + meth has no chance against an upgraded turbo Evo like that one that raced that Z06.

On topic: If you are going in for warranty work, take it off completely. If your in for service, I had no problems leaving it on map 0 but ymmv depending on dealerships.

Guess I will play it safe and take it off completely when the car is going into BMW, just hope the dealer can't tell a custom tune was previously installed.
