Best LED Angel Eye match to 2013 LED Eyebrows?
Trying to find out which LED angel eyes are the best colour match to the LED eyebrows on my 2013 135i.
Can someone point me in the right direction please. I've heard LUX and Alpine are 2 of the better makes but which are the best match? Has anyone tried BMR's own brand? |

I went with Lux V3 but haven't yet installed them due to a long delay, fingers crossed they are white in colour.

LUX 5000k is the best match colour wise for the eyebrow of the lci E82
That said, I personally like the LUX 6500k colour better, just that little bit more crisp. The BMR angel eyes are around the 6500k mark as well. You're welcome to a full refund within 30 days should you not be satisfied with them. Rocco I've sent you 6500k - if you want 5000k let me know and I can swap them. The 5000k appeals to me as being a good match, but I doubt that anyone would really notice the difference with 6500k. You can get the 5000k Stu? I only saw the 6500k on your site. Please pm with details/advice......thanks! Last edited by cat-like; 04-23-2013 at 09:34 AM.. |

I don't know what my LUX version is (V3? Andrew SBM any idea??)
I don't think they are 100% exact colour as the eye brow but its pretty close! Certainly happy with it. I assume the 1M has same color as current 135i??

Finally installed 6500k V3 LUX today and I'm impressed!
Yes, the eyebrow LED is slightly warmer than 6500k, but I much prefer having the angels in 6500k rather than 5000k. Those sitting on the fence with this mod, please do yourself a favour and buy a set coz they look fantastic.

I did but my little camera didn't do it justice, may need to lend a SLR for the job.
Just tried again with my P&S camera, result OK.

Lux V3 6500K
Hi guys,
Here you go. I just took a few quick shots to show you. I have Lux V3 6500K from Stu. To my eyes, the inner rings appear more brighter than the outer rings except for a certain angle of view and 6500K is more crisp and not a lot different to the eyebrows. If you want matching, then go with 5000K but it's definitely more "yellow". I'll take a few shots outside when the sun is out later if I get a chance.

I appreciate the photos, thanks guys.
Only on the real close up shots can i spot the slight difference in whiteness, from distance they look great, even if the 5000k is the closer match i think 6500k is the way to go i reckon. |

the ones i fitted over the weekend (6500K china spec) the inner ring is a little brighter than the outer. the packaging says they should be the same so i've complained to the seller. will take a picture later and post it for comparison. I paid 70 pounds for them but i've spoken to my mate who owns an audio/electrics store and can get them heaps cheaper if anyone is interested i think hes ordering a whole bunch.
