Cap on solenoid broke off

The small square cap on of the turbo solenoids broke off. I noticed it when I was doing some engine cleaning.

Looks to me that it is just a cover. Don't want to spend money on a new one if I don't need to.

Feedback please.

I believe they're just a cover, if it's not affecting performance I wouldn't worry too much. You'll know if your boost solenoids are going bad.

I believe its an exhaust baffle.

I ordered a new set of solenoids that came missing without this part, installed them and no worries all good

So you'll be fine, I think it's there to try and quieten the solenoid.
