the box was freaking heavy and I was wondering what they use as padding.

It seems they used shredded cardboard boxes for padding.

Sigh i want to put my PE on now but still waiting for my downpipe to come in - stuck at Singapore Airport apparently there is a massive back log of goods coming in to Perth (with TNT).

Here is hoping it will get on a flight tonight and arrive tomorrow and installed on Thursday before the long weekend!

*edit* just got an update from TNT tracking site!

25 Oct 2011 12:57:46 Perth Shipment Released From Customs Following Inspection.

Going to be a great long weekend - might take the queen for a ride in my car

2 x MPSS (fronts) arrived from Tirerack yesterday. Only ordered on Thursday. No sign of the rears yet, and Fedex tracking site now shows 'Clearance delay'. WTF does this mean?

Queens here over the weekends, Avoid CBD. Sorry about the chip mate, from what I hear don't use touchup paint unless you know what you're doing.

I just ordered some LCI Tail lights to make myself feel better after a crappy day...

Will hopefully pull the trigger on the PE next week... Just waiting until after the move... There's always those pesky unexpected "hidden costs"...

I used some Dr ColourChip touch up paint to cover a chip on my rear quarter panel - can't even really tell its there now . . . cleaned up a fair few on my front bumper too. No complaints here . . .

My great day went to crap yesterday after a cop pulled me over for doing 80km in a 60km zone (I thought it was still 80 but somewhere along the line it went down to 60km).

The guy didn't give me a fine on the spot and will mail it to me.

What pissed me off was the fact that 2 second after driving off the road went back to 80km not happy!

Hmmm was reading up on it seems i should have used a toothpick or a very very fine toothbrush.

I tried using as little paint as possible with the brush that it came with but it was still fail.

Oh well.
