Hi Guys. Busy day but let's see if I can answer some of the questions:
1. The Garmin and V1 are temporarily routed to the cigarette lighter plug but I have an appointment for 0900 tomorrow to have both hard-wired. Will keep you posted. 2. I realize I am flirting with the suction cup law but never had a problem with the same setup in my MCS. (Same with the front license plate law, speed limit law, etc., etc.) 3. The tint and full frontal clear-bra was done by Omega Werks in Pleasanton CA. Very, very good install. Call Vincent at 925-227-1322. 4. The V1 is virtually invisibly from the outside.. less obvious than any other car I have owned. The attached photos show how difficult it is to spot, even in direct sunlight. 5. All told, the wheels and tires set me back just over $2500 (mounted and balanced with new TPMS components) but that was a very friendly price, due to a personal relationship with the dealer. |

V1 and Nuvi, hardwired by Kar Tunz (Pleasanton) 925-460-8869. They removed a couple of panels to hide the wire; fished it through to the center console and connected underneath the cigarette lighter plug. Totally invisible.. works great. Took about 90 minutes.

Nice job. Does the passenger visor go down enough? I had to move mine to the driver's side in my old set up because my wife would forget it was there and knock it off all the time.
Now all you need is the concealed display and your good to go, oh, and a laser shifter  |

Nice install. Mine is nearly identical, except a smaller GPS and a 9500i instead of a V1. Here's another pic of the detector for you guys that I took over the weekend. It's a great mounting spot, and it would likely go unnoticed even during a traffic stop.
