Have you actually seen a n55 downpipe back exhaust? The downpipe back exhaust from a n54 looks like it will bolt onto a n55.

The n55 has a single vband that splits to two on the downpipe/midpipe connection.

either way 1800 dollars for straight pipes is idiotic, people who actually buy things like this are further supporting over priced bmw parts....

$1795? shiet, put me down for one when the N55 version comes out. I know the price seems a bit much but for a quality product, especially from HPF, I'd pick one up in a heart beat.

LOL ill just stick with the berk sport. i dont doubt that berk makes their exhaust just as high of quality as HPF. It just sucks when a company with a name makes a shiny new toy and charges you 6 toes and your dickhead to purchase one.

i have never been one to complain about pricing on quality parts but I hope HPF listens to their customers cause not a lot of people will pay $1700 for an exhaust

$1400-1500 is about as high as I would ever go for any exhaust

Honestly. I don't get it. Why companies charge so much for exhaust that are basically a straight pipe. That kind of exhaust should cost around 300 to build on materials. R&D on that kind of things is minimal. Seriously, it's not even titanium for that price tag. Not even an of the shelf muffler. If that exhaust were going for 600 I can understand, but at those price levels. I highly doubt they will sell.

I don't have anything against HPF, they are an awesome company but this is ridiculous.

I mean 600 might be a little too cheap but there is no way that this system should pass the $1K mark. The only people who might buy this are those who are crazy enough or have money. but with those kind of prices its going to be a waste of R&D because no one will be willing enough to pay those prices resulting in a waste of time.
