You can check Kelly Blue Book and see what the car ACTUALLY costs. Otherwise most of the time you can easily knock off between 2-4k off the price if you negotiate well.

just ask for invoice... I'm a CA, so I hate when people do this but - shop around. get quotes in relation to invoice and keep calling every dealership until you get invoice or better.
in cali i will give people somewhere between invoice and $1000 over depending on the dealership's allocation at the time. |

Mine's a 2009. Black Sapphire, Terra, M-Sport, heated seats, ipod-USB. 33k.
I didn't shop that much. The dealer where I ordered mine was the second-closest to home, yet 135 miles away. I really, really liked the dealer, and didn't try to squeeze another 500 or so. I've been treated very well there, so I'm OK with the deal, and will go back when I purchase again. I see you live in Brooklyn. Do you need a step, or can you get away with a manual transmission where you live? I've driven both versions, and the stick is in my garage. IMHO, there's a pretty noticealble difference. But, I live where I get ticked off if I hit three red lights in a row. Good Luck!! |

I was pretty much set on buying within the next few weeks. But after hearing about the 2012 LCI thinking about doing some research online to check out the differences. |

if you can, wait to see what the 2012 brings in with prices and all that, if you don't like it, then you can probably get a better deal on a 2011(pre LCI) model since it will be considered "old"

Value/Premium/cold weather Xenons/alarm $30,730. I did European Delivery though and got 500 over euro delivery wholesale. |

Welp, looks like they're gonna ding you an extra $1500 to order the 2012 according to the publication today. That's a bummer but I'd still probably do it.
