I think so, but there are a lot of German Holidays that will cause ED at the BMW-Weld to be closed, so it is best to verify dates you are interested in.

Here's a German Holiday Calendar for 2008...
http://www.buyusa.gov/germany/en/holidays.html August is looking good, but wouldn't you know May 12th (my preferred ED day) is Whit Monday (Pfingstmontag). Looks like I'll need to reschedule.

I am not too worried about the holidays. Yes, those euros do take their time off but I don't think that the whole country shuts down for the month of August. I lived in Austria for a number of years and I don't recall it being any different other than the occasional "Geschaeft Geschlossen" sign on "mom and pa" stores.
The list of official holidays Irv posted above is great. They should be doing business as usual. Worst case scenario is that the lines will be long due to reduced staff and increased demand for ED. No way around it so I'll have to make it work. |
