Need some help! Fuel system?

I have noticed the past few days my car cutting out on hard acceleration? When I get the rmps to 5,000 or more the car really seems to hesitate and even feels rough in the rear end. It feels like it's slipping? Could this be a fuel sytem issue. I have noticed recently the long cranks are filtering in on my second fuel pump. I have 40,000 miles on the car. Anyone else experienced this feeling in the fuel system or transmission? I sure dread the trip to the dealership especially so close to warranty being out.

HPFP. If your having long cranks again, your pump is failing.

If you have a code reader, check for codes.

As far as the feeling you have while hard acceleration, I've never personally experienced this. May or may not be the pump.
