Getting the oil up to temp will burn off the gas and water. But it will be a little hard on the oil if it continues to sit there. Honda's maintenance minder changes the oil change interval if you do short trips, they are also vehicle dependant. On the turbo RDX, I have seen oil change intervals up to 12000 or 13000 km with long trip driving. With just continued short trip driving, I have seen it as low as 4000 km.
