Getting the 135i wrapped!

Hey guys. I have recently been in contact with a local wrap shop, and they have agreed to wrap my car as a barter for services. I wanted to see what ideas you guys come up with. Im 20 so I could do something crazy and still get away with it if i wanted to. here are some of the wraps I've seen and liked.

Post pictures or ideas of wraps (or dips i guess) that you've seen.

I would do white colour with some black or carbon fiber touch ups.

I love it too. unfortunalty i think all of these are a little bit too much for my stock 135i haha.

Im going to go pearl satin white with a gloss black roof, and gloss black wheels, along with the front splitters in gloss black. then a pattern like this in the back in gloss

Forgot i started this tread haha. I ended up doing something a little more tamed and under the radar. You really gotta see it in person to appreciate the color. Its high gloss metallic pearl.

Not trying to plug my instagram, but for the curious @RidiculousMichael on instagram. Ive got a ton if you wanna see what it looks like.

I can get you guys a good deal on wraps in orlando if anyone is interested

Those look awesome. For the ones who got theirs wrapped, are there any bubbles or wrinkles along the edges and seams between panels? I came across a wrapped 135i here locally recently and there were a bunch of small bubbles along the edges.

If the job is done properly then no. The edges can bubble off if you get too close with the power washer.

Whats cleaning like? Just lightly hose it down? Are bugs an bird poop really difficult to remove?

Its matte vinyl. I use a pressure washer but take care not to get too close. Cleaning is a bit of a nightmare. I make sure I get bird poo off immediately. Bugs mostly come off during the wash.

I use Meguiar's as its wax free and a foamer attachment. Spray it on continually for about 10-15 mins. Let it soak in and power it off. Then sponge and rinse again. I use isopropanol alcohol to remove water marks. It takes quite a bit of care and I clean it about once every week or two. I only do about 100 miles a week though.

Thanks dude. Its definitely a head turner. The mirrors are original le mans blue. My friend didn't have time to finish wrapping them- it was 2am on Monday morning! I quite like the contrast though. Might get them wrapped eventually.
