removal of Berk resonators

So I have the Berk Street exhaust, and am thinking of removing the two midpipe resonators and keeping the rear muffler. Anyone done this?

It sounds great, but it's doesn't have the sounds I want above 3000 rpm.. I like a little bark at higher rpms.. lol.. not too loud though, so thinking of keeping the muffler on the back.
