Also.... anyone mind if I drag the wife along? She has been under the weather, but she might be up to eat, if the guys are ok with this.

Rears are done. What a BIZZATCH!!!!! Now to tackle the fronts tomorrow.

Kleen, it's a tedious job but if you have worked on cars before and have a decent garage and tools, it can be done.

.......or you can pay 600-800 euros and have the dealer install them.

David,

I did. Long story short, they're done and brakes are bled. All I have to do now is setup the G5 ISO board that came in friday and then i'll give my .02 cents on how they feel.

Also, after this............I wish I still had my E30

There is no way this could happen. This is an "upgrade", not a mod. The bushing adds frame and suspension support to the vehicle. This is a BMW original part, which fits on ours and actually helps it out. For any dealership to frown upon that, is not heard of.

Up to you though man, I'm sure some other guys on here could have of the same input. I think you're over-fearing seeing what the dealership could do for you.

Our dealer here in Stuttgart loves my car, and I don't have one single BMW performance part lol.

Dude, if that was the case they would not be selling/installing BMW Performance parts since it's a "modification" to the car. I think you are overreacting. David's (Dackelone) M3 bushings were installed AT the BMW dealer in Bamberg. And above that, the parts installed on the car are from BMW which have been proven to be interchangeable with other models. I really don't think that the dealer will void your warranty because you chose to have them install upgraded BMW bushing that are part of the inventory.

If that was the case, Dackelone's warranty would haev been out the window.

Mods are mainly what I have done with my car.......Vorshlag, Eibach, UUC, Bimmerworld Stud conversion.......those are modifications. They are parts that are made by another companyor that particular car. Also even if you take the modifications to the dealer to install, they guarantee the handiwork, they don't guarantee the part itself.....and will still not void your warranty.

The guys at the Niederlassung also love my car.
