135i Ignition Coils
Any advice on the best value for money coils?
I have a 2008 135i with the usual mods; FMIC, Ch/ Pipe, AFE Cold Air Intake, Catless D/ Pipes & COBB. |

Eldor are the way to go. FCP Euro have them on sale at the moment for about $26 each. I just bought some last week and they arrived in about a week.

I have read somewhere that it is best to stay with genuine BMW. Does anyone know if this is fact?
If that is the case, which BMW coils are the best, are M coils any better than standard? |

Eldor are the new OEM coils for BMW Turbo engines. They're also the same part used in the Rolls Royce twin-Turbo V12.
They are higher quality than the Bosch and supposedly last a bit longer. |
