Bmw 120d 2010 auto noise
Hi I’m really struggling to find out what this is, has only developed recently.
Had a look in the engine bay there’s nothing I can see it’s very dry no leaks, nothing out of the ordinary. And can’t be heard from outside but only inside the cabin. Any ideas? https://youtube.com/shorts/PUL2C1QYtvw?feature=share |

Well just go to Regional Forums, then UK, then start a new post there, same as what you have here. Then, once you have it there, come back here, open a new post and say "moved to Regional Forums, UK.

Easy there NorthernDacer. Post on the regional forum to get more ideas for sure, but you're fine here. It's a diesel, (albeit the steering wheel is on the wrong side. and a diesel is a diesel. My first guess would be that it's an exhaust leak. My second guess is the vacuum pump. The other noise, when you activate the AC, is your AC compressor. Separate issues.

Very much appreciate the support and ideas. If it was the vacuum pump the brakes would be affected no? Car drives perfectly fine It’s just this vibration noise I can hear. It’s always there no matter cold or warm and can be heard when driving too. It does get louder at times too
