Whiteline 27mm front sway bar install - question

Hi all,

Had a quick question - after I installed my whiteline front sway bar onto my e82 125i, i noticed it contacted some plastic tubing (see pic).

I was wondering if anyone else had run into this issue and what they did about it.

Thanks

Uhh, is that an electric motor for the steering rack?

Yep, contacts the motor and the tubing containing the wiring.

Wondering what people did - just forget the sway bar?

Hmm, not sure. Sorry. Most if not all of us in the US have hydraulic steering racks so I'm not sure. However I know some of the front sway bars have a thinner section on them in the center that I assume is used for clearing that electric motor.
