The sales guy just told me that he can't confirm the exact date until one week before arrival. So still hoping to arrive in late Feb/early Mar, or even worse according to Kelvinso's experience . You guys go ahead to arrange the first E90 meeting. I will certainly join, if schedule permits, with whatever car I have.

By the way, thanks for E60 team invitation for the Sun drive. But too bad I can't join this time. You guys have fun!

BTW, any specific agenda? Or just photo taking at that location.

Try to be there if it is not raining. I know where the gathering spot exactly is. It would be quite messy if it is raining cos I will be there with small kid.
So will you be there?? You can call my mobile if you are not sure where it is.

I know where it is. Actually I am living in that area. I am still not sure whether I can show up for awhile.

My sense of humor, isn't one of the main reasons to pay so much to own a car in HK is for weather proof?

It will be a great event to see so many bimmers for photos and your family will love it !

I never joined any meets and must be excited to hear the exhaust sounds of so many BMW running in the streets of HK. Just hope none of the HK traffic police is reading this thread

Yeah, can't wait to see so many E90s rumbling around the city! I think we should have at least 10 E90s on our first meet. Let's move up a stage by deciding on the exact date of our first meet. I think it would be end of Feb. Any suggestions?

We are talking about a good morning 'jog' of our loving E90s which will not be taking more than 1.5 hrs. e.g. 8am is great, 9am is the latest and I would think most people can spare a small slot on a Sunday. 8am seems a better meet time in case some people do go to church or wait for the home cleaners at 10am.

If the event is a Sunday early morning which ends ~10am, I will have no issues to commit on any dates. My only little issue is if a biz trip is to span over the weekend (like I am now).

It is nice to have as many to join for first event. We probably like to do this on a more regular basis, say once every 3 weeks to start with and later on once every month. I hope that we will have gatherings on a more regular basis and not just a one-off event and build a Hong Kong E90 community together. When I started this tread 10 days ago, I was just targeting 6 cars to start with but the good reaction caught me un-expected. The list is growing rapidly. We now have 12 members and I am quite confident that we will have 2 more so I am quite happy and my work was not wasted.

So, now I would like to confirm the meeting time is 9am for our first meet. Then, how about the date, any suggestions? I think we should confirm the date asap because I have a 16 months old baby and we need to go to church every sunday so we need to pre-arrange beforehand.

So, guys. Please suggest some date:
