Headlight Upgrade Suggestions E82

Been researching this but before I pull the trigger...I was wondering if anyone has good input on what are the best headlight (low, high and fog) upgrades for the 128i?

I see a lot of LED bulb options that seem cheap and easy -- direct installs. I also see lots of guys going to cheap halo full lamp replacements (however I don't seem to find great input about the quality / light output of those options).

Anyone have any thoughts/input to share? Better options to consider?

Thank you very much.

Pic for effect.

Ric in RVA installed and recommended Sealight H7 LED bulbs - https://www.1addicts.com/forums/show...ostcount=19608.
On his recommendation I also ordered and installed them and I am very pleased. However, when I was going to post the link to them on Amazon, they appear to no longer be available. A search on Amazon for Sealight H7 for BMW 1-series does return some options but I'm not sure how they compare to the ones Ric and I bought.

I have been using PIAA Xtreme White H7s for the almost 8 years I've owned my 128i. The light output is very good (pattern is great, but that is reflector design) and probably doesn't blind oncoming traffic as LEDs might. The only downside is that the bulb life is just over a year, meaning just out of the 1-yr warranty period. Bulbs are not inexpensive ($70/pr depending upon vendor pricing). I've thought about some of the Phillips bulbs but am not sure to trust the reviews I see. I know I like the PIAAs!

I've been very happy with Osram Rallye H7s, and now that they're discontinued, the Daniel Stern Lighting equivalent.

I have the Sealight H11s in our Volvo. Fantastic.

Thanks, any flickering or error messages/warnings (for low voltage)?

No flickering no errors. Simply mark “LED conversion low beam” as active via BimmerCode.
