MHD tune for 135is

Does the mhd stage 1 tune on 93 make the 135is slower sense the is was tuned up from factory car is all stock just wanted to tune to see if I could pull a couple more up out of it but after I flashed it I went to test drive and it feels slower pulls through gears slower no cel’s car still runs fine just feels slower didn’t know if anyone on here might have an explanation to why that is I was thinking the MHD stage 1 tune would be a downgrade from what bmw did to the is’s

I think you need to go to MHD 2+ to improve on PPK

I think the IS falls in the locked ECU build window as well. You may need a shop or tuner to unlock before going MHD.

Can you tell me more about this? I have a 2013 Is and I'm looking at getting the MHD soonish.

I wrote to MHD and their very terse replay was,

No, 2013 135 does not need bench unlock

Can anyone here confirm this by experience?

It's not locked. There are only 2 box codes for the N54 and most of the tune work is based on the IS code.

Yes, 2+ to see good results form the IS.
