No idea I'm afraid mate, sorry.

You're in the same boat as me, waiting for September to come. I ordered mine back at the start of April though, so I'm 3/5ths of the way through the pain so far.

Waiting for the 58 reg has been the most stupid, agonising sensible decision I've ever made

Goes in at 3pm today.

From what I have read, it:

1. Helps smooth 1st to 2nd shifts (this is something I am not convinced about)
2. Assists in hard acceleration gearchanges - this is something that I feel when accelerating 100%, especially changing from 3rd to 4th.

I never really do hard gearchanges from 1st to 2nd. I used to feel the same 'clutch riding' on my S2000 due to the CDV in the same 3rd to 4th, especially when overtaking and HATED it. This is the main reason for the purchase.

SSK is likely to be next, but want to get a feel for the costs i.e. labour. Also keen to try it out to ensure that there is a £400+ benefit!

Will do a full review of the CDV later!

Minijet, the prices are in the earlier post on this thread. I would imagine any BMW garage could arrange the fitting.

Just wanted to confirm it was about 450pound. It is selling for about 2k here in Australia which is about 900 pounds. so quite the difference.

Was going to get a friend in london to get it for me.

Can anyone recommend a dealer to buy it from in London?
