Hi All,

I have new wheels and tyres to go on my car probably this weekend. I will therefore be selling the standard 261 M-Sport 135I wheels/tyres. Front tyres are completely worn out run flats. Rears are about 60% worn continentals (255). Wheels are in good but not great condition. They are all straight and have never been bent/repaired, but all wheels have some minor gutter cutter rash (previous owner not so good at parking!! ). The damage is not deep, and could be easily repaired/painted. So these wheels would not suit someone looking for perfection, but they would suit someone looking for track wheels, or a cheap upgrade to a nicer rim for lower spec 1 series/other BMW, or someone wanting to repaint the wheels (would look great in a darker grey!!). Wheels are located in Sydney Norwest (Hills district).

Can anyone suggest a fair price for these, as I have no idea what they are worth. Did some searching here, and only came up with new wheels that are alot more expensive than mine would be, or others that were sold to offer with no prices stated. PM me for further details.

Cheers,

Adrian

what wheels you getting Adrian? you sticking with 18s? I was thinking it would be a good idea to get my existing 261s painted in the colour the same as the image below instead of actually changing the wheels themselves. I have a black 135 so black on black would look pretty good I think.

Earlier this year I bought a set of near new wheels and tyres exactly the same as what I am selling (except stock rear RFTs)!! I payed alot more than I think I would sell these for though (new RFTs and wheels). I have had them sitting around waiting for the fronts to wear out, and it is now time to put them on. Any idea what is a fair price for these? I don't want them hanging around for months, so want to sell them on the cheaper side, but don't want to give them away due to my own ignorance. I really have no idea. Is $1000 reasonable, or higher or lower?

Cheers,

Adrian

I think 1k is reasonable, thats how much I would want for mine if I sold them tomorrow and mine are not brand new but not really bad condition either.

I would say around $1k or so too. Maybe a bit more. Each wheel is about $1200 new from the stealers.

I've got a MadDad Street Exhaust with Black Ceramic Coated Tips that I want to sell.

Only had it for approx 1 week. So, it's pretty much as new.
It's a great sounding exhaust. Nice deep tone and has an very cool burble/pop on the down shifts.
I must admit that it's a little too loud for me. Once I sell it I'll be going the BMW Performance Exhaust route...

These are approx $970 delivered from MadDad at the current exchange rate.

$800 OBO

The BMW Performance exhaust is a very different exhaust to the Mad Dad Street Series, I would say that the perf exhaust would be more inline with the MadDad Whisper Series. Goodluck with the sale.

Correct. I might even look into the Whisper Series as well once I have sold the Street Series.

have a listen to the below link mate, I think if your after a more quiet exhaust but you want something a little louder then stock then the Whisper Series is a great choice.

EXTREMELY good price! Probably could have started at a fair bit higher ~2k/1800 and worked down if needed considering the rash. I would so buy these but I don't have a 1er

THIS IS NOW SOLD!!

Hi All,

I have attached some pictures of my wheels for sale. I took them off the car this evening and gave them a quick wash to take photos and several people had contacted me asking for photos. Quick summary:

* These are 261 M Sport 135I 18 inch rims that came on my 2008 135I. Done about 30,000kms
* Front tyres are completely bald standard tyres that came on the car new
* Rear tyres are continental 255s that mostly worn. Maybe a few thousand kms left in them. They were replaced due to a nail in the original RFT.
* Wheels are in generally good condition, but have some gutter rash that can be seen in the photos. No buckles, bends or anything and they spin true. Send me your email address if you want hi res photos.
* Centre caps not shown in photos but to be included with wheels.
* Price is $1000. These wheels sell from BMW for over $1000 per wheel. These wheels could be repainted to you choice of colour in as new condition for a few hundred dollars (I personally like a dark gunmetal grey!! )

Please PM if interested.

Cheers,

Adrian

130 For Sale - SOLD

130 For Sale - Possibly cheapest undamaged in Aust

Ok, finally it looks like I might part with my joy of near 5 years.

So here we go, BMW 130 2006 Black with Sunroof and 18" RFT wheels, with all the standard options.

Just clocked up 101,000 km of untroubled motoring and will have the 2nd scheduled service done before sale.

Car is in good condition for the km's some stone chips etc but never in an accident.

Victorian Rego, will run out Feb 2010 (I Think).

Mostly driven on Highway and hence current fuel economy is an average 8.5 lt/100km for the last + 10,000 km.

Have been offered a trade in on a new car, so hence the low price as a private sale.

SOLD
Photos up, this shows the car with the 18" OZ, these are not included at the above price. Happy to discuss including for more $. Car will come with standard 18" with original RFT.

Car is now SOLD to another 1addict member - ENJOY
