Cobb AP v2 Issue after SIB Update

Yesterday I had my 2011 135i updated by the dealer for SIB 12-15-14, which fixed the fluctating idle and lag issue. After the programming, not only did I lose my coding options, I am now unable to use my Cobb. It is coming back unrecogniozed ROM.

Anyone else having this issue?

Yes I did as of last night.

I send Cobb my ECU read via website upload and apparently they already updated the beta firmware and have pushed it out to me. I just need to log back into the AP Manager when I get home and update the Cobb again. Hopefully this works and I will be incredibly impressed with their Customer Service!!

are you able to use your Cobb AP now? I have a v3 and had to have my DME replaced as it was damaged from coolant from a defective water pump. I got the same error unrecognized ROM. Sent my file to Cobb waiting response.

One thing to check is that you have the option to install beta firmware selected in accessport manager. Cobb website says to have that option selected for BMW owners. After I did that and updated accessport firmware the accessport recognized my rom.

Hmmm, I don't think it's too new. i've heard it talked about on a few threads.
I know for some reason dealers are slow to offer it as a fix for the lag issue. But after my DME was replaced and flashed the lag was gone.
