I totally agree, I think xenon should be a optional add-on package by itself for people to choose.
They make you pay $3000 to get the premium package if you want just xenon. what if you don't want the other BS in the premium package. we are buying a Bimmer, they should c/w xenon headlights for free why we have to pay extra.... |

I am complaining that is it an option for the 128i in the states but not in Canada. You have to pay $3000 for the premium package just for xenons cause everything else in that package is BS.

I ordered a 128 Coupe (the only BMW where xenons are not standard) two weeks ago and really wanted the xenons as a single option. I was able to 'special ordered' the sports package to get the suspension and wheels but keep the regular seats for my gf's back (bolsters are too large on the sports seats) and this cost me $400 on top of the package price. I argued it didn't make sense that I could special order the regular seats - an option available NOwhere, but they couldn't special order the xenons by themsleves - an option available 1.5 hours away across the boarder and the cars are made in the same damn plant. This REALLY pissed me off! I made the dealership double check and it was still not possible.
I ended up without xenons as I could not justify $3,000 for them - especially when I don't even want a sunroof. STUPID! |
