Installed this myself this weekend. Installation is very, very simple and the instructions clear and concise. Gauge looks great and very OEM-like installed. I would give it the following ratings out 10:

Install difficulty: 3

Quality of wiring: 8
(would have preferred a little higher gauge wire..but I guess it would be cost restrictive)

Quality of part: 9.5
I deducted 0.5pt due to the quality of the single button on the unit. Would prefer a thicker more "meaty" button...I am afraid I might break it if I push it too hard or the wrong way

Ease of use: 10

The included instructions for setting up and calibrating the unit were VERY clear and concise

Overall: 9.16

Looks very stealthy, Easy to install, and a great addition to any 135i!

Yes it basically allows you to see real time info on boost levels as you drive the car, in addition to allow JB3 map switching on screen, if you have one.
