DVD player spins on after engine is switched off

Does anyone know why the DVD player in my 2008 135i sounds like it's still spinning, or whirring, even after the engine has been completely switched off?

Mine does that too since day one. Does not happen all the time. I just ignore it. Don't know why it does that.

Same here, it still spins for a while as long as a DVD is in there.
