WTB: '09+ 135i, <30k miles, WA area
Hi, I'm new to the forums, am shopping for a '09 or newer 135i coupe with under 30k miles. I'm in Seattle, WA and would prefer a local car, but could travel for one if the price was right Preferred specs: - Space gray / Terracotta interior. Black interior could also work. - 6MT - M Sport package - Premium package - Cold weather package (need heated seats up here in WA!) - Convenience pack desired by optional - Prefer not to have Nav Please let me know if you happen to be selling. Thanks! Last edited by panic; 09-19-2011 at 02:39 AM.. Reason: Corrected specs |

I'm selling my '08. Not sure why you want '09+ as there are no differences between the '08s and '09s.. It may not be exactly what you are looking for, but it's pretty close. It's AW with 37k miles, 6MT, sport package, manual black leatherette heated seats, no nav. It also has over $10k in modifications. I think It would be considered a "full bolt on" car.

I think you are mistaken Swaite. Sparkling Graphite Metallic was available in '08 only. It was replaced by Space Gray in '09 and is still available currently. From what I have read, they are the same base coat. The Sparkling Graphite Metallic has multiple colors in the metallic flake which gives a shimmering effect that is absolutely stunning in person and cannot really be captured in pictures. Unfortunately the chemical process required to make SGM was environmentally hazardous, so it got the axe. Luckily they still offer Space Gray, which is a great color, just not quite as great as the original SGM.
I happen to be looking for the same year range, so I've done quite a bit of research. As far as differences between 08 and 09. The only functional difference is that the 09 has the newer larger screen Nav system which is Hard Drive(vs DVD) based and generally considered a much better system. Also the M sport pack was not available in 08, only the regular sport pack. The differences between them are the wheels, Anthracite headliner, and M door sills. I've been searching for an 09 with Nav, but the Sparking Graphite Metallic color makes me consider giving up the Nav to get an 08 in that color. |
