The Eibach springs are $406 in Australia. There has been a price drop on these from Eibach. This is about the same price as those shipped from the USA.

I was quoted $250-$300 to install in Melbourne.

So where is everyone getting the $406 price? I've checked the Eibach online store and they don't even appear to list them...

Give Eibach in Sydney a call. Also got that price from all 3 Melbourne Eibach suppliers listed on their website. Suspension City in North Melbourne, Carshine in Tullamarine and Toperformance in Vermont.

I've done around 5000km on them, asking for $220! Also have a set of Koni FSDs. If you can take your car in to SBM next week I'll happy to let Andrew know that you're going to fit them, then I won't have to take it back .

I don't want to pollute the general forum with my sale so PM me if you're keen mate.

From what I've been told there isn't much price difference in installing springs or doing the full coilovers. Imho, it's better to go with coilovers so you can adjust the height to exactly what you want or at least do the spring/shocks. The stock suspension is nice but you'll find the car much more engaging to drive with an upgrade.

For those prices I hope you get a happy ending as well cause that's a rip.

If you're in Sydney I can hook you up with brand new eibachs installed for $650

That's a fair price for install, 250 is obviously better than 300 though

I finally installed the Eibach springs today. The drop is fairly milds. About 25mm at the front and 15mm at the rear. I would have liked a little more at the rear. Hopefully they will drop a little more over time. I have 255/35/18 rear and 225/40/18 front tyres with 8.5 x 18 ET45 and 8.5 x 18 ET50 wheels and there is no rubbing at all. Also tested the car over bumps today and there was no rubbing.

The ride feels exactly like the OEM springs however, there is less body roll when turning corners.

Can you tell us where you got the springs and installed?

I am thinking of going back to 18s and getting a slight drop.
I am paranoid about dips and holes on the road these days with my 19s!

I got the springs of Liub(fellow 1addict member). The were in perfect condition and only done about 5000km. I got them for $220 but new springs are $416. I had them installed at suspension city in North Melbourne for $180. I still need to do a wheel alignment.

Are these worth doing without doing the shocks as well?

The main reason I did these is for appearance. I think that they have improved the handling slightly with no change in ride quality.
I spoke to a number of suspension experts before doing these and all of them told me that there is no reason to do the shocks with the Eiabach pro kit. I don't think that new shocks would have greatly improved the handling or the ride quality. Also spoke to a couple of well know racing car drivers who advised against mods like coil overs for the street unless the car was going to be tracked often.
