BMW slashes 1ner prices to match Merc A class

BMW must hate Mercedes. It has been forced to slash the prices and add equipment to the 1 series to combat the Merc A class. Some prices such as the M135i drop over $7500.

Shows how much we still get overcharged here in Oz.

More importantly, the 2 series should come out of the box priced more competitively. Then again an RS3 would be tasty.

Ffs.. Bundling?

That was the ONE thing aus did better than other countries

Hope you can still get individual options and or the bundles are at least a touch cheaper

Everyone in other countries complains about not being able to get some options without getting useless unwanted other ones

This will depend on CLA pricing which I think will not be too cheap. I would imagine 2 series would be around 1 coupe pricing (or a bit more).

With a little bargaining, picking up a brand new M135i at 65k drive away is a good deal...

Little bit more and we can bypass that luxury car tax.... Almost think BMW want to keep paying it as a status symbol of wastage...
