My ProcedeFlash that I am running also has to do with it as well. But yes, for the tune I'm running, the sensor is advised, and the booster pump is required.

Haha funny thing is, its probably 1 or 2mpg less than that if you do the calculations yourself.

10mpg isnt bad if you have e85 stations near by

Why dont you upgrade the IC?? With all that other work, i think its crazy to not improve the charge air temp, especially at how hot it gets with that much power.

Charge pipe in the mail, forge dv's in my garage, fmic next purchase mainly my reason was warranty for not getting one, with my procede flash, I'm not limited to the IAT/CAT temperature limits because e85's cooling components in cylinder are a lot cooler than pump gas, so normally where you would see timing being pulled from high IAT's, I'm maintaining the same timing and power. But with the fmic, it will help with pressure loss and work the turbos less, so I'm looking forward to that. I do agree with you, I would have gone with a FMIC as my first performance mod if warranty wasn't in the back of my mind.

Personally, you have a much better chance of maintaining warranty with a dealership with a FMIC than DPs. Its obvious when DPs are swapped in and out and that directly impacts the way the car runs. The FMIC you could talk your way out of and actually argue that it is only helping the motor run better, unlike removing essential federal emissions components.

I am debating picking up a FMIC again because i miss not seeing my IATs climb instantly every pull.

Pretty impressive! Though one has to wonder how long the stock turbos would take that kind of punishment haha.

Well the taper would appear to be pretty swift, 12psi at redline is not aggressive at all. But 21psi midrange is somethin serious

Forgive me if this is a moronic question, but I have been out of the N54 game for two years. Back in 09' I threw down some serious numbers, but no one was talking about e85.

E85 as in Ethanol? Like the corn fuel shit? Forgive my ignorance..

I'm back in a n54 as of 2 weeks ago, and will get her back in the 11's soon =)))..

This e85 seems like it would helps tons. Thank you! And sorry if this is a stupid question..

BTW, you have a drop dead gorgeous car my friend, cant wait to meet you and see your baby in August in Corona.

Thanks!!

No problem at all man, yes E85 as in that corn stuff It's cooling components in cylinder allow for a better knock threshold for running high boost and timing. You can run about a 30-40% mix with pump gas and you will see a nice increase in power if you adjust the tune accordingly. Anything above those mixes though you might start to run into lpfp demands because E85 requires another 20% of fuel to match the same bang you get with pump gas. I upgraded my fuel system by adding Vishnu/FFTEC's inline booster pump that essentially helps the lpfp provide enough flow for the high pressure. I'm also running a back end flash that allows me to flow more fuel without hitting the fuel ceiling. There is some good stuff to read up on about e85 over on e90post. Cobb, JB4, and Procede all support it, it's fun stuff
