Did you install the PE? How's it holding up in the extreme cold? Gaha. I'm just waiting for temps to rise again before I install mine.

Actually I went with the OEM 135i exhaust I will admit the BMWPE sounds nice the reality of the matter was that its hard to fathom only 2 main exhausts (BMWPE and magnaflow) for the 128i. Plus since I got it on the forums for like 100 bucks and cut/welded myself with a Vband (epic BTW) this expands my options. In extreme cold its perfectly fine I like how it has more of a deeper growl than stock and feel a little bit more "oomph" in higher gear. But i mean we all know the exhaust is solely for sound for our cars LOL

FYI Id HIGHLY recommend checking ebay, I have seen them consistently up there for around 630 shipped and it doesn't take much at all to install (worst case scenario at a shop 60-80 bucks) but its something you can definitely try yourself

I found one for sale on the forums but I know a lot of people go with the eBay route. It's $630 shipped from PA and I live near the border for school, so I cross frequently and have a US shipping address through "kinek" or "parceldonkeyusa".
Good luck with your search. And I'm gonna DIY.

Lol. Free bumps. Even though it's already at the top.

Customer asked me today for a stock rear muffler for his 128i. You are pimping this stock rear muffler from 128i? His has a straight pipe from the axle back. Nice quality, too loud for his taste, bought it that way. If I am reading correctly and you are in fact offering up a rear muffler (with some pipe, presumably making it a "stock exhaust") I may have an interest. How far forward is this stock exhaust that you speak of?
Thanks. |
