BMW Assist "SOS" button nonfunctional?

Hey guys,

I never got around to setting up BMW assist (stupid me) and now I'm realizing that the button itself seems to be nonfunctional.
Is there anything I can do without bringing it in? And if I do bring it in, does anyone know what needs to be done?

Thanks.

At the risk of stating the obvious, make sure you pop open the black "case" that looks like a button so you can see the orange colored button, then push that. Took me a few pushes to realize that. Just pushing it is really all you should need to do.

Your dealer should have set it up before you drove off with your new car. I'm lucky to have a really good dealer.
